Pricing & Payment
Yes, we charge a diagnostic service call fee that covers travel to your home and the technician's time to diagnose the issue. If you proceed with the repair, this fee is typically applied toward the total repair cost.
We provide a complete estimate after diagnosing your appliance. The diagnostic fee covers this assessment. You'll receive a full breakdown of parts and labor costs before we begin any repair work.
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), debit cards, and checks. Payment is due upon completion of service.
For larger repairs, financing options may be available. Ask your technician or call our office to discuss payment plan options for qualifying repairs.
Premium appliances use specialized components, advanced technology, and require extensive training to service properly. The parts are often more expensive, and the diagnostic process requires specialized knowledge. Our pricing reflects the expertise and quality parts needed to properly repair these high-end units.
Repairs & Parts
Yes, we use genuine OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts whenever possible. These parts ensure the best fit, performance, and longevity for your appliance. In some cases, we may offer equivalent-quality alternatives if OEM parts are unavailable.
Most repairs are completed during the initial service visit, typically within 1-3 hours. However, some repairs may require ordering specific parts, which can take a few additional days. We'll always inform you of the expected timeline.
If repair isn't economically feasible, we'll provide an honest assessment and help you understand your options. We believe in transparency and won't recommend unnecessary repairs. The diagnostic fee still applies as it covers our technician's time and expertise.
Our service vehicles are stocked with common parts for the brands we service. This allows us to complete many repairs on the first visit. For specialized components, we may need to order and schedule a return visit.
Warranty & Guarantees
We offer a 90-day warranty on our labor. Additionally, parts come with their own manufacturer warranty, which typically ranges from 90 days to 1 year depending on the component.
Our labor warranty covers the specific repair performed. If the same issue recurs within 90 days, we'll return to diagnose and repair at no additional labor charge. Parts are covered under their respective manufacturer warranties.
The warranty does not cover: damage from misuse or neglect, repairs by others after our service, unrelated issues, normal wear and tear, power surges, water damage, or failure to follow proper maintenance procedures.
Typically, having an independent service provider repair your appliance does not void the manufacturer's warranty, as long as the repair is done correctly. However, we recommend reviewing your warranty terms or contacting the manufacturer if you have concerns.
Sub-Zero & Refrigeration
Common causes include dirty condenser coils, faulty door gaskets, evaporator fan issues, or compressor problems. Sub-Zero units have dual compressors, so issues can affect just the refrigerator or freezer section. A proper diagnosis is essential to identify the root cause.
Sub-Zero recommends cleaning the condenser coils every 6-12 months. Dirty coils make your unit work harder and can lead to cooling problems. Regular cleaning helps maintain efficiency and extends the life of your appliance.
Some sounds are normal, like the compressor humming or occasional clicks during defrost cycles. However, loud buzzing, grinding, or constant clicking often indicates a problem that should be addressed. Contact us for a diagnosis if you're concerned.
Sub-Zero units are built to last 20+ years with proper maintenance. Their dual compressor design and quality construction make them a long-term investment. Regular maintenance and timely repairs help achieve this lifespan.
Wolf & Cooking Appliances
First, ensure the burner cap is properly seated and the igniter is clean and dry. If it still won't ignite, the igniter may need replacement or there could be a gas supply issue. For safety, don't attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
Wolf ovens can be calibrated through the control panel. However, if temperatures are significantly off, there may be an issue with the temperature sensor or heating element. We can diagnose and calibrate your oven for accurate cooking.
Generally, yes, as long as there's no gas smell. However, we recommend having it checked promptly. A malfunctioning burner could indicate a broader issue, and continued use might cause additional wear.
HVAC Services
Yes, we service all major HVAC brands including Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Rheem, Goodman, and more. Our technicians are trained on both residential and light commercial systems.
We recommend professional maintenance twice a year - once in spring for cooling and once in fall for heating. Regular maintenance prevents breakdowns, improves efficiency, and extends system life.
Yes, we offer maintenance plans that include scheduled tune-ups, priority scheduling, and discounts on repairs. Ask about our maintenance programs to protect your investment.
AC (air conditioning) specifically refers to cooling systems, while HVAC includes heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. We service complete HVAC systems including furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers, and ductwork.
